Cattle panels and equipment hire
lutruwita/Tasmania
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our wonderful adopters and the companion cow community, we now offer FREE hire of portable cattle panels and gates for people located in Lutruwita/Tasmania.
We understand that specialised equipment can be costly, and we firmly believe every beloved bovine deserves access to proper care.
That’s why we’re making it easier and more affordable for you to access a portable crush system, making yearly bovine vet checks, care and hoof trims a safe and stress-free process.
Keeping your bovines healthy and their hooves in great shape is essential. We recommend scheduling 12-monthly vet checks to monitor their well-being and address any concerns promptly and proactively.

Tips and Recommendations:
Seek Veterinary advice: Before hiring our equipment, we recommend talking to your vet to understand what equipment they need to perform the required veterinary treatment safely and effectively. NOTE: Our equipment is not a vet crush system and does not include a head bale.
Plan Ahead: We recommend collecting the gates and panels a few days before the scheduled procedure. This gives your Companion Cow time to get acquainted with the area, ensuring a more relaxed experience on the day of the procedure.
Equipment List: Hire equipment includes; 2 x sliding gates, 1 x side access gate, 6 x standard cattle panels, and 18 pins and clips to ensure maximum security.
Trailer and Straps: You'll need a box trailer measuring at least 2.5 x 3 meters in size to transport the panels safely. Don't forget to bring along straps to secure the panels during transportation.
Team Effort: Loading and setting up the yards require at least 2- 3 strong people to handle the gates effectively.
